“Pa-Love-Bok”

I created packaging designs to local delicacies that people in the Philippines all know and love.

Pancit Palabok is a variation of pancit, a classic dish many Filipinos enjoy. Despite the many different kinds of pancit in the country, palabok is easily recognized by certain trademark characteristics: its thin noodles and orange sauce in particular. Some say that one synonym of palabok is “salsa na malapot” –– meaning, a sauce that is gooey and viscous in nature.

Everyone loves palabok, but it does take a lot of time and effort to prepare. So i made this make-believe product “Instat Palabok” for the hard working moms, students and adults who deserve a wholesome snack every now and then. I hand-drawn the illustrations and added them to the packaging itself.
